Siamese cats, especially tabby (Lynx) points. Two of my Siamese, Samantha and Prince, were tabby/Siamese mixes. It was Samantha who started my love of Siamese cats.

Quote:
My special interest, which I have had since as long as I can remember, is hearts and heartbeats. Unfortunately, I am extremely embarrassed by it :( I also really like irregular beats.

Why are you embarrassed? Maybe you'll grow up to be a cardiologist, nothing embarrassing about that paycheck
I was at the emergency room with a relative this week, and it was so interesting to watch the heart monitor they hooked up working, and how the pulse would change with what was happening - eg the drip needle thing going in, doctors asking questions, etc.
My special interest is always the same primarily, being Japanese food and cooking, especially Shojin Ryori and other vegetarian forms (because I'm vegetarian). But at the moment I'm also really into art journalling, and addicted to watching "flipthroughs" of them on youtube, as well as both working on a small notebook art journal I got back in July, whilst hand making and binding a bigger one myself. I have made the signatures, hand sewn the whole book, made the cover panels from thin wooden boards, and just bought the material to bind the spine (as well as a hot glue gun to do same) and some faux suede to make the outer cover. When it's done I plan to start following the activities in the book "The Artist's Way" in it and see what happens. :D

History, music history, the 70's 80's and 90's, and documentaries! :D I am a history nerd. I know a lot of dates and historical knowledge, which is sometimes amazing to me, knowing that I know all this information really well. 8) I also LOVE 70's, 80's and 90's electronic/non-electronic music, and fashion from those eras. It's the best! :D

Aren't those 7-inch TV sets from the 1940s interesting?

AGT is the most dominant one at the moment. I also have a special interest in a person, which is pretty awesome :D .

Autism, for the last 10 years, it's been other things too and I still have a life long interest in astronomy, a 40-year long interest in the post punk band The Fall. I have had periods when every waking moment was given to these interests, but for the last 10 years or so autism has been my thing. Autism occupies 60% of my waking thoughts as a minimum. I think any less than this is an NT hobby (although I am not the best person to ask guess)

I love 70s and 80s music and fashion too! I'm more a 70s throwback myself, but my first retro love was the 80s.

That's nice to know! I don't find people my age who likes that kind of stuff, and I am 16! Unusual for a kid like me to be into this kind of stuff, huh?
