Could be worse.

Have seen folks on WP give specific advice (to some guy about his girl friend, or about some particular thing with his coworkers)without noticing that the dates on the posts they are replying to are like fifteen plus years old (so the situation is long gone, and the person theyre speaking to ceased to be on the site 14 years ago and cant read it anyway).

Once in a while I will respond to ancient thread...and bring it back from the dead. But I will make an aside to the reader that "yes...I know this is an old thread from ten years ago, but I still find it relevant".

You know, I put a lot of effort into making silly posts on WP, half the time nobody bloody notices and then I find out that I'm not even included in this poll from 14 years before I joined. It's outrageous.
