Whenever I upload a Doom video and the automatic chosen thumbnail is of Doomguy teleporting and it happens to almost every other video when I play a level that has teleportation tiles. I have two other thumbnails to choose from and either they both have a teleportation screenshot or one does and the other shows the end of level stats screen.
The odds, man. The odds.

I absolutely loathe the word empathy

And I don't know anyone irl who understands what theory of mind means either

They should just do away with the whole concept

We did alright before without it

Doing away with the terms to describe a concept doesn't make the reason the concept was first described go away.

What you're describing would be like trying to eliminate the word orange in hopes of making the colour orange go away. It wouldn't accomplish much beyond requiring a new word for that reddy-yellow colour.

Eventually someone would conceive of approximately the same concept because the concept itself is valuable for describing the ability to understand that other minds are working with different information, experiences, biases, etc.

Putting the genie back in the bottle is both impossible but also doesn't result in the genie actually ceasing to exist.

People who drop their friends like a brick the moment they find out that they have an embarrassing health issue.

I'm sorry that some people do that.

Why are so many foods and additives banned in Europe but still sold in the US? I guess making a profit is more important than consumer's health

Last night I watched a video that showed a bunch of those horrible PSAs by Autism $peaks (the Youtuber tore them open a new one), and in one of them the autism mom was moaning about how her autistic son would never get married or have kids.

That is a stupid thing for any parent to say about any of their kids, autistic or otherwise. We were not born just so we could fulfill our parents dreams instead of our own. What if the kid grows up not wanting to get married or have children, even if they're capable of it? It's their decision and not the parents. Why do people even still think as an adult it's your only true purpose in life? Blame society as usual, I guess.

I can be pretty dense when it comes to noticing other people's jokes.

My pet peeve: People loading game videos thinking that anyone else even cares about them.

Every time I hear a new song and want to know what it's called, I'm too afraid to ask because I'll either get no answer or the only answer I get is Darude - Standstorm.

People only care about kids with "low-functioning" autism, they don't care or even acknowledge people with "mild" autism who didn't even get diagnosed until adulthood.

It gives me the imposter syndrome really bad, where I am afraid that I will be exposed as someone who is not really on the spectrum and fakes or exaggerates her "symptoms" as an excuse for things like being unemployed or having meltdowns.

One thing that bugs me on many levels is Superficiality. I understand its place in the social fabric of human interaction, but the over-reliance on it just doesn't jive with me.

On the soft end of it, it's one thing for customers to begin the conversation asking how I'm doing; it's another when I respond by politely asking what help I can offer them (since I'd rather just get straight to the point of why they're actually here; we both know they don't actually care how I'm doing, and I don't honestly feel like going into how I'm feeling, since I'm a terrible liar and am typically not feeling wonderful when I'm at work) and they respond by acting insulted that I by-passed that question.

On the heavier end, it isn't just oversized egos that I find a great turn-off but also people who frame their entire outlook according to their own views and expect that everyone else is supposed to see it their way, or there is something wrong with them. Granted, I suppose the latter is expected since it's an unfortunate reality of human nature. Seeing it in so many other people made me a lot more self-conscious about it, so I try my best to remain in the mindset that I'm just another nobody - like everyone else - who can try their best to understand things but otherwise does not have all the answers. I tend to immediately form a not-so-high opinion of people who want everyone to see them as some kind of saint (even though I probably ought to just mind my own business, in that regard).

I don't get what it is with some people being real food snobs, where they insult you and treat you like garbage because not everything you eat is like food for the gods or whatever. So what if I had Kraft Dinner and hot dogs for supper instead of steak and caviar or some nonsense? And then there are the people who go on about "white people food" or something, which I feel is reverse discrimination. And I'll bet some of the food they like is supposedly for "white people". Like ice cream, maybe? :)
