Just for the record, this isn't intended to be a morbid and depressing thread, so much as a potentially fun and different way to get to know each other by being restricted to a short line or two that sums up you or your life. My partner and I were joking today that mine would read, "...but it's the rules!"

In a more serious mood though, I might slip into a delusion of grandeur and imagine it to say, "Knowledge was her power." Maybe in Latin though...that would be awesome!

So, what would be your epitaph??

My favorite is the blues man's epitaph: "He didn't wake up this mornin'" 8)

Another favorite for you Buffy fans: "She saved the world...a lot"

What I would like my epitaph to say: "He made a difference"

Whether it'd be accurate or not is yet to be determined.

I've had this one in mind for a few years:

"You want me to do what?"

A few possibilities:

"Classic."

"Now with Retsin!"

"Was Here."

"Laid to Rest in the Castle Aaauuuggghhhh. . . ."

But for reals:

"Loved." is simple, worthy, and grammatically ambiguous.

"I'm buried upside down so the world can kiss my ass."

OK that's old, but still.
