It's callled 'The Lost One'

To cut a long story short...

It's about a gay male relationship, two guys (19 and 26) start getting to know eachother and fall greatly in love, the yougner man moves in with the other who lives in a secluded big house a few miles away from the city centre suroudned by grass and fields, but the older man starts to get very posessive and starts to get into jealous rages, eventually it gets so bad thatthe younger man can't leave the house in, later on in the book the younger man wants his freedom and wants to split up with him and the older guy goes into a violent rage and locks him up in this secret basement where there is some small windows (it becomes obvious that the older man isn't mentally stable), over the weeks the older man only feeds him rashions of food and tells the traumatized guy about his problems and says that he can't let him leave 'cus he asid he loved him, after another few weeks of being held hotage in the dark, damp basement and after a few unsuccessful suicide attempts, the older man goes to him again but the younger man says he does love him and after talking for a while and persading he agrees to take him up to the bedroom so they can 'make love', but as they get into the bedroom the younger man grabs the lamp and smashes it over the others head leaving him inconcious for a while, the younger man runs downstairs to try and open the door but it's locked, meanwhile the older guy is waking up, and the other guy manages to break the dioor down and escape, he runs deep into the grass until he runs into a bear trap , he evetually passes out from all the blood loss and trauma he had suffered, then the the nect scene is placed in an iterrogation room and the younger man is being questioned by police and tells them what had happened, but the police and detectives say that they found the other mans skin cells and blood in the basement and on the bear trap but there was no evidence of his. The younger man then gets frustrated and denies it all... and then it ends that it was actually the other way round and it was actually him that did all of those things and he gets diagnosed with severe split pesonality disorder and is taken to a mental institution and it basically ends there.

Ok, that was long but there as alot to it lol

Heck that does sound interesting... but you told us the ending... Oh well, no harm in taking a read. I like a book called 'Holes' by um.... louis.... something... (short term memory loss). It was made into a movie featuring Shia LaBeouf. Very good descriptions.

There is no such thing as a too extreme story. By all means, publish it.
