And can't grow an emotional callous? I'm still as dramatic as a 15-16 year old drama queen, maybe even worse. I have to wait until I'm 40 and that will take forever.

The thing is, you can. Remember, mind over emotions. Mind over logic. Logic and emotions are subordinate to your mind, not the other way round. Strange but true, although most people will dispute that. But really, they're functions of your mind, they don't create it. Your mind creates them.

Sadly, they own me. I've given up on trying to overpower them so I want to control them manually through depressents.

I also feel younger then I am. I for one like it and find it helps me relate to kids very easy.

Although my minimum age for having relations with a younger person is 16.

I've always wanted a way to age myself drastically.

Anyways, back to the matter. It's no use, my emotions are exposed like raw tissue with the skin exposed. There is no hope of growing a callous and aging myself rapidly. :(

In my heart I am still the 20 year old "Joe Cool" that I once was.

Yet when I look in the mirror I see my father.

We age more on the outside than we do on the inside.

Funny. I still think I'm 11-12. Might sound crazy, but I envy people about my age who feel like they're 40.

It's because H.F.A., Aspergers is a developmental delay which means that it is proven that we mature slower than N.T.s.
