(I just read this "for women: do you wear makeup? why or why not?" http://www.wrongplanet.net/asperger.htm ... ic&t=10150 , and I could not resist to ask this simular question :-) )

I am talking about a woman you would like to have a close relation with only! So not remotely on tv, or on a picture in a magazine or something.

My vote is that I prefer no makeup. I do not hate a bit of makeup, but to me it certainly is not an advantage to start a close relation if it is being used.
(it is one of the many things I like so much about my wife, that she rarely uses makeup)

Oops 8) I answered in that topic when it would have been more appropriate here.

No, definitely not. I don't believe that make-up ever makes a woman more beautiful; it makes her more attractive, which is not the same thing. (To put it as simply as possible, attractive is what makes you look at a woman. Beautiful is what makes you want to keep looking.) And I'd feel awfully squeamish about trying to kiss a woman wearing chemicals....

I like some makeup, but not an excessive amount.

I saw your answer there Nuntar, and I wondered if I would answer there too it would be considered hijacking the thread :-) (so that why I started this one)

Unless they are wearing sweetened makeup, when biting them i could see the makeup tasting bad.

I like the natural look. A little bit of make-up is fine with me, but if it looks painted-on, then no way.

Eye shadow, concealer, and anything glittery. Any more is too much.

I've always wondered why guys don't gag and run when a woman wearing makeup tries to kiss them. I mean, who wants all that crud to smear off on his face? Yeck.

(But then I'm a no-makeup-wearing woman, so maybe I'm missing something crucial  )

I sometimes wear makeup, most of the time I can't be bothered.

It doesn't hurt trying to make yourself look a little nicer occasionally. I don't see why people are so against people wearing it.

Because if a woman wants to make herself look nicer, I'd prefer that she use a method than (1) does that instead of having the opposite effect; and (2) doesn't make kissing an unpleasant experience.

You must understand, though, I'm not "so against" people wearing make-up in general; it would just be a bit of a turn-off in anyone I was interested in having a relationship with.

I like women better with no makeup but it's not me to decide. It is fun though when they play with makeup and create interesting results. But totally, natural is better.

I don't mind, but if it's someone I care about I hope she will always be able to see her beauty without make-up on.

I also don't like perms.

The thing with make-up is answered by Grayson.
and i hate the taste of lipstick.
Sraight long hair (natural) is best.
sweats and a t-shirt is also attractive.

all in my own opinion

I think I'd prefer women not to wear makeup. Or at least, not too much. It just disappoints me to realize how often Hollwood actors and actresses are wearing makeup on the screen and how their real faces usually looks nothing like that. It makes me wish more movies depicted people as they are. Like it or not, those images pretty much seep into our collective subconscious and dictate what we should look like, and I think that's unhealthy.
