Thought I'd better introduce myself before I start upsetting apple carts lol.

I'm 38 was diagnised AS in 2002 and fought it. For all of 2004 I have suffered a major depression. Medication made me worse and after a weekend that was my lowest point so far (I wanted to kill someone!) I decided that now was the time to seek help.

I am seeing an AS specialist twice a week and a psychiatrist weekly!

Nuts? Me? Naaaaaaah!

But... Life goes on and after reading some of what was on here I felt I had to comment. S'why I registered.

Hey Neolestat! I hope you're starting to get better from your depression. I had it reallly quite badly while at secondary/high school, at a time when I was Aspie but didn't know about it!

As soon as you start accepting who you are, life becomes a whole lot better - trust me!
