I can't believe no one is talking about this game.

Blazblue: Calamity Trigger is a 2-D fighting game that was released June 30, 2009. The game was produced and created by Arc System Works, the same team that created the Guilty Gear series. These links provide more information better than me.

Funny that this topic got created, since I just got done playing BlazBlue!

But anywho, yeah its a good fighter. Some really impressive 2D graphics, and really fun characters.

I don't own the game, but I've played it a lot at the arcades. I really enjoyed it.
I liked how each character has an extremely specific gameplay style, thanks to the Drive abilities - no two characters play the same.
Right now I main Ragna, but when I finally get the game I'm also going to try picking up Bang Shishigami, Iron Tager, Haku-Men, and Carl Clover.

For some reason, mold-breaking games don't get any attention anymore. Just the same old same old shooters, fighters and gimmicky platform games (Oh yeah, and SPORTS games ) get any kind of hype, and anything with any sort of complicated technical aspect that you can't just coast through gets ignored by the layman.

Sorta reminds me of 'Atlas Shrugged' for some reason.

I would be all over this game if I had an Xbox 360, I promise.

But I don't. So I'm still going to buy GGAC+ for the Wii, and hope I get an Xbox under the tree this Christmas.

Yesterday I finally finished the arcade mode for all characters. Now I'm starting the story mode of the game.

Sounds fun. So what sets this game apart from Guilty Gear? How is it different?

(got AC+ by the way, love it as I expected.)
