I fell for it. I thought it was real, until the pictures of the apes showed up.

There's another similar web page out there that lets you look up driver's license pictures....or so it claims. It just has more hairy primate pictures

I'm so glad that turned out to be apes and not me!

I did wonder whether posting a link to that site was appropriate for WrongPlanet given that aspies are generally more likely to be the target of practical jokes in the course of their lives than are NTs. But I figured that anyone browsing the Random Fun forum would already be in a good mood.

... That is unless they were feeling low and came here for cheering up.

Did I fall for it? And would I admit it if I had?
Well, I filled out the info on the site while expecting their alleged database of photographs to be very small. When the site told me they had pictures of my school, I thought they'd get it wrong.
I can't remember what I thought when it said they had one of me.

But all the time I thought it was a genuine site! I didn't see the monkeys coming.
I'm just glad I didn't have someone looking over my shoulder and snickering at the time.

I knew this was gonna be something jokey but I still went and filled the thing in DOH....

This is from my second grade year. They wanted the girls to come in our white dresses for the pictures but I refused. I was a very stubborn child.
