Anyone get their GCSE results today? If so what did you get and were you pleased with your results?
I got:
Maths: C
Englsih: C
Science: C
RE: B (yay)
IT: "pass" (2 Cs)
Health and social care btec: "pass" (4 Cs)
French: D

I got what I thought I'd get, no surprises there. I was happy with my RE result because I'm doing RE in college. I don't really care about French, I'm not going to use it again and the speaking test is what lowered the grade for me, you had to speak french into a tape and it gets sent off to the exam board, when I did it I basically froze and forgot everything I was meant to say.

I was hoping I'd do better but circumstances meant that I didn't. (Basically the school screwed up my exams and I missed about 3.5-4 years off school  ) I was pretty disappointed with maths because I want to do it at A-level. Nevermind though I'm happy because I got 3 A's.

English Language: A
English Literature: B
Science: B
Additional Science: A
History: B
Geography: A
Maths: C :(

Overall I got what I need so I'm satisfied. I was miserable when I got them because I'm a perfectionist.
Oh and congrats to anyone else who got what grades they wanted. :D

I could only do six of them since I suddenly was moved to homeschool for the final year.
But,
English Language: B
English Literature: B
Double Science: C, C
Maths: C
Drama: F (Yeah cause I can really do Drama on my own at the kitchen table.)

I think I would have done better if the years I did spend in school had actually been for learning and not disrupted by morons...
I got 5 and that's usually what's needed anyway?
Was predicted A in IT and Art, but couldn't take them...

When I walked into my French GCSE oral the first thing I said was 'Slower, please'... in German.
