Does anyone else still sleep with a stuffed animal/plushie? I sleep with a large Kinokoron plush :D

Do you think that because people on the spectrum are more likely to be emotionally immature, that many do? I don't know of any other adults who still like to cuddle plushies

I sleep with stuffed fish, a stuffed seahorse, and a stuffed alligator. They're made out of polyester. I used to love to collect stuffed animals, but recently I stopped and I placed a whole bunch of them in the garage because I found out that I have a severe allergy to dust mites.

I sleep with a bunch of my stuffed animals. I use one as a sort-of pillow, in addition to my pillow. When I sleep overnight somewhere I HAVE to take at least one.
I have a bookcase* filled with my stuffed animal collection.
I'm in the process of purchasing a Jumbo (30 inch) wolf stuffed animal (from the Wild Republic's Cuddlekins collection).

*It's a corner bookcase so it's smaller then a regular bookcase.

I have a stuffed Clifford I sleep with. I have slept with other stuffed animals in the past. I have a bunch of stuffed animals but most of them are at my parents because I don't have room for them. I am hoping to get a house someday and I would have room for all my things. I don't think it's uncommon for anyone to not have them or sleep with one.

Not any more, but I used to have a teddy called Ursula ("Ursula" is from the Latin for "bear").

I don't sleep with them, but I kept some of them that I have as a child.

I cuddle up with one of those big Apatosaurs meant for 3-yr-olds from the Melissa & Doug company. I even named her; Dinah. I smuggle her in my things everytime I travel to the university each week so I can cuddle with her in the privacy of my own dorm. Usually going back home on the highway, if it's nighttime, I'll pull her up to the front passenger seat.

Problem: She can't leave the state since she's too big. So I resort to a smaller alternative plush Apatosaurus.

I used to for a while, but stopped.

I still keep them laying around though :P

I have a number of stuffed animals that I keep in my bed (3 stegosauruses, a skelanimals hippopotamus, a pink skelanimals bulldog, and Gir from Invader Zim. I'm thinking about putting the smallest stegosaurus and Gir on the table next to my bed though since they're kind of small). I usually sleep with one of the stegosauruses in my arms. I also have a giant triceratops that I use as a pillow (triceratops was the only dinosaur they had, otherwise I would have gotten a stegosaurus).

I don't actually need stuffed animals to fall asleep, but I've found that I sleep better if I have one. I used to toss and turn to the point where my blankets and pillows would be on the floor by time I woke up, but then I started sleeping with stuffed animals again and now I can usually wake up in basically the same position I fell asleep in. It's not a childish thing so much as it's an actually being able to have a good night's sleep thing.

Oh man, that's what happened to me when I was a kid. I had the huuuuugest stuffed animal collection, and I wouldn't let my mom get rid of it when she found out I was allergic to it. XD;; I still have it. And I sleep with some on the pillow next to me when I'm at home, but when I'm at my apartment I really don't. But mostly because my BF sleeps next to me, and holding one would disrupt my perfect cocoon, lol. My pillow is shaped like a happy peach though, does that count?

I still sleep with my stuffed Patrick Star toys, 3 actually. But I keep the rest of my SpongeBob plushes beside my bed, not in it. :)

I've been sleeping with the same stuffed animal since i was about 6. It's a fisher price "big things" puffalump. It's the perfect size, shape and texture and so comfortable to sleep with. When I don't sleep with it my arms always wind up in weird positions and sometimes get sore because I lean my body on them.

I guess I'm the odd man out - I have not slept with a stuffed animal since about 6 - it was a hand-made monkey my grandmother stitched together from old socks.

Okay, okay, I'll admit that I do sleep with this inredibly soft flamingo plushie. It just feels really good to have my hand around his neck (LOL that sounds evil!). It really does though.

I still sleep with a stuffed cat plushie (minus tail since I used to pull that in my sleep), but I mainly just sleep with it 'cause I don't know what to do with my arms otherwise and end up getting annoyed and frustrated. I don't need it, I just like to have it with me. It always ends up in the suitcase if we're going abroad. And technically, it's not a plushie, but a pillow shaped as a cat!
