Women- the greatest intellectual mystery?

I think women could just be the greatest intellectual mystery.
You might disagree with me- particularly if you are a lady (hypocrits! you love being mysterious really!)- but then you're more likely to direct your objections to a social construct of the situation- is it not that before feminism women were hopelessly misunderstood, and within years all this confusion will blow over?
Or, someone will say, we have a sort of primarily known idea of women, to which we attach a kind of ensemble of glorified psychology, phsiogonomy (spelling? I don't even know what it means...), just to keep the human females romantic? But]

I know I have been a mystery for women in My Life. As they are a mystery to Me. So it goes both ways We are Mysterious to each other.

Oh, women are totally easy to understand, and you can get along with any given woman at any given time.

Except the ones who are allergic to chocolate and thus require more research to bribe into liking you.

How many women here think 'chocolate' should be replaced with something less edible?

People who aren't interested in being introspective and forward about their feelings are the greatest intellectual mystery because anybody interested in being reasonable about anaylzing themselves and forward in talking with someone else(be that a man or anyone else) will be easy to understand and explore, and fun too.

This is one of the qualities i'd like in a mate.

I see your logic. Do you think that people can analyse themselves on different levels, there seem to be people who ask of themselves and discuss with others rather tedious issues like 'why do I finish sentences in this way, why do people not laugh at my jokes' then there are people who ask such deep questions as 'what is my purpose in this group'
Or is that just me..

Well it seems to be that it is unfair of you to judge one form of analysis over another. Sometimes i'm interested in why i so often use "Well" to begin a message(I do this on AIM too.) And in what situations i do that. Sometimes i wonder about it on a biological level, sometimes i wonder about it on the psychological level. And sometimes i wonder about how I(or anyone) functions with other people in society in reality versus theoretically. Sometimes i wonder about this from a psychological point of view and somethings i wonder about this from an evolutionary perspective. Although i will admit that some people tend to focus on one aspect of an issue over another.

If you mean "cash" my mysoginy has limits. I also hate the idea of being supported by another person if I don't have to be, or bribed.

You're right. There are so many levels of analysis and I suppose you can't orde them on any form of hierachy. That's my intellectual snobbery coming through....

I dont think that all women are an intellectual mystery, but I do think that some poeple are. Those that cannot be honest with themselves and, therefore, others are a mystery to me. As are those that take pleasure in making others lives a misery, or those that compulsively lie. I could go on but I aint gonna otherwise the topic of conversation may get a bit dark.

Hmmm, I agree there that those who cannot be honest with themselves are a mystery to others. Given that I also think this is a non-gender specific mystery, I suppose I should believe women are not particulary intellectually mystifying Yet I still believe that women have a bond with their feelings which is specially difficult for outsiders to decode.

This is the correct answer. I really wish people would drop the idea that women are somehow more deep and complex.
