I wonder why the hell the guy/gal who uploaded it said it was from a children's show, and banned? Can't trust anyone these days. >_<

LazyTown is actually a good show.

Yo, Gabba Gabba is like what Syd and Marty Krofft might have come up with today if they were still doing TV.

I know, but some of the details regarding the Pirate song are rather... unfortunate.

Correct, it's a movie called The Adventures of Mark Twain. We had maybe half of it on a VHS and I've watched it quite a few times growing up...one of these days I'll buy it and get to see the whole thing

As for creepiest childrens' programming, my votes goes to Dora the Explorer. Everybody on the show STARES right at the camera with these huge creepy eyes...ugh...I wish I could've turned it off, but alas, it wasn't my house

Not to mention, they throw out all these Spanish words with little to no context, so I'm not sure what kids are supposed to be learning anyway. I learned more Spanish from watching Speedy Gonzales.

For some reason I thought this animated show with a monkey and a crocodile was very creepy when I was a child
But now when I see it again some 30 years later I only think its cute. The little monkey talking russian is so adorable!!

and as for creepy childrens programmes of today I think most of them are, they are so incredible hysterical and contains so much scream and speed
It so diffrent from the time I was a child when creativity was used in a completely diffrent way...

But maybe Im missing the point with this whole thread. Its quite common in connection with me these days

I have a 4-year-old son, and "Thomas the Tank Engine" freaks him out like nothing else. There is something deeply disturbing about this show. Not sure how to phrase it, but there it is....

"ÄÄÄÄÄÄH!"

I think this one deserves a mention, even though it's a commercial and not a TV show:

I adored that movie as a child.
Though I only caught it on television twice.

I'm definitely going to see if I can find it on DVD :D

And the scene shown in this thread was one of my favourites.

The Moomins (the puppet version, not the cartoon) that used to be on UK childrens TV in the early 1980s.
