Anyone else here a Modest Mouse fan? I recently bought a copy of "Good News For Everyone Who Loves Bad News" off eBay and I thought it was brilliant. Just beats the snot out of anything else I've ever heard, so different.

I've heard some cool songs from them, though I forget which CD's they were on.

Good when I'm in a certain mood, like most music.

I like the old stuff I've heard from them, though I can't say I've heard much of their newest endeavors (I didn't warm up to that song on the radio for a long time). They've got that Pixies sound that I've grown to love ^____^

That's the one. I didn't like Float On at first. His voice has changed a bit since those older songs. It's alright now, though ^^

I concur. Lonesome Crowded West is fantastic, as is The Moon and Antarctica. Even the odds and sodds record Building Something Out of Nothing is brilliant. Issac Brock has yet to turn in a really bad record.

Yeah, moreso in the past than now -- I'm into a lot of different stuff -- but I had a properly sized Warehouse jpeg in my files and was just too lazy to find something else.

That said, Warehouse is probably one of my desert island discs. One of the few albums that I have both on CD and vinyl. It's really something.
