I notice that when I'm in the midst of periods of extreme stress & anxiety, I have to use the latrine....and I have to use it a lot; often times using the facilities several times even in a 30 minute period.

Is this common for folks with Autism?

That only happens to me when I drink caffeine.

It happens to me, it has nothing to do with AS but only with stress. It's a biological defense studied torward predator. In a situation of fear/stress, etc.. your body want to expell everything to make you run better / hide better and have less damage due to punch/kick, etc.

Uncannily when I'm out walking the dog. In public spaces such as the city it can be a problem, especially when there aren't many trees around.

My pads started smelling like pee when I was 16 so it's assumed I maybe leaked urine but then my panties be fine when I wouldn't be on my period :? Now my panties smell like piss when I wear them but my pants are still dry.

Now my bladder is messed up so it feels I have to go all the time even though I don't have to go bad. I just need to hold it to train it so it doesn't think I have to go when I don't need to so it be used to have urine in it again. None AS related. Diaper related.

I have wet my pants a few times in public...one time I was being dropped after a date and just peed all over myself when I was trying to get in the door right in front of the person who dropped me off....another time it happened in the grocery store soup aisle while I was wearing my girl scout uniform..there have been times it has happened when nobody was around but it was maybe before a show or something..so I had to super-hide it...There was a period while I was working as the morning manager at a coffee/ice cream shop..where it seemed like I had to go every few minutes...

I've got the opposite problem. Need I say more? I don't really think so.

Reminds me of during school exams, even though I didn't feel stressed about them for some reason I couldn't concentrate as I kept thinkig about my non existant need to pee. Completely silly and even to day I have no idea why I let it bother me so much although perhaps it is because I have never been in favour of asking in front of other people if I can go to the toilet, usually waited till break or lunch.

Yes. But weirdly only during certain times, in the morning between 7am and 11am, and at night between 6pm and 11pm.

For me as a Mom, YES. Before hand, NO, unless I drank alot of something. Once you have kids(the natural way), your ability to "hold it" just never is the same. I think I will stop here with my explaination before it becomes TMI...LOL

Reminds me of someone who couldn't use trampolines because of that. Worst thing was when her kid blurted out to someone else that that was the reason.

Sometimes i have to pee every 5 minutes. I don't know whether it has something to do with Asperger's. I might have diabetes insipidus.
