This might sound stupid, but I really want some Aspie friends. I'd like to find someone I identify with, (Far too much of the time I really feel like I'm from the wrong planet!). Also I am very interested in Aspergers; I am going to do a "Twilight seminar" on Aspergers, a kind of evening course thing where parents and professionals can learn more about it.

So, yeah, I want some friends, but I really don't know how to make friends xD I guess people could reply to this with their name and some of their interests or interesting things about them? I don't know. I do communicate better using the written word, though.

What are your interests? Mine are anime, video games, movies (especially ones with Godzilla), and more. I'd like to make more friends on here as well.

What kind of videogames do you like? I play videogames occasionally but I tend to get frustrated and stick to the easy/noncompetitive ones. I enjoy creative writing (Stories and poems, mainly) and reading, (Mainly classics and especially dystopian fiction. I'm also interested in philosophy, especially moral philosophy. Oh, and I used to be obsessed with Pokemon when I was younger

I'm mostly into Mario, Kingdom Hearts, Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, a few RPGs, and more unique and crazy games.

I like creative writing in anime and video games, but I'm not intelligent enough to appreciate poetry, and it's been very hard for me to get into a novel recently (not because I hate to read, but because every novel seems to be the same to me).

I'm not sure if you're into anime, but I feel like recommending Neon Genesis Evangelion for you. It was pretty creative and ground breaking for it's time (1995), and touches on some philosophic aspects later in the series. There are other very creative anime out there as well. I do apologize if it seems like I'm talking about anime too much, but it's my special interest.

I love Mario! :) I'll check that anime out, is there any way I can see it without paying? (I'm not a cheapskate, I just have no money.) I don't agree that you are "Not intelligent enough to appreciate poetry," A lot of incredibly intelligent people I know have no interest in poetry, and even though I truly enjoy some poetry I have the sense to admit poetry is pretty useless.

I don't know how all novels can seem the same to you but I will keep my eye out for a novel that is truly different from the norm. What about anime based novels?

If you search for it, you may find some places to watch full episodes. However, I myself prefer to buy the DVDs, as I'm pretty obsessed with owning DVDs.

Thanks for pointing out that just because I don't like poetry, doesn't mean I'm less intelligent then those that do. That makes me feel a lot better.

I guess it's because most of the novels I see are either romances, crime dramas, or mainstream fantasies. I don't think that ALL novels are the same, as I've read some pretty unique ones myself. However, I myself just prefer animation over novels now.

Anyway, I think we can be good friends on here. If you ever want to talk, just send me a PM, and I'll message you back.

Hi rosiemaphone! It doesn't sound stupid at all that you want Aspie friends. I feel the same way.

My interests are computers, video games, and stuff like that. I'm starting school soon to get my BS in Mathematics, so I guess you could say math is also an interest of mine. I also like to write but I don't know if I'm good at it.

Nice to meet you rosiemaphone :)

Hello Rosiemaphone. I may not be interested in the same things you like but this is one of the right places to go to meet friends. Not long ago, my aunt introduced me to this website and I can write about things like experiences I remember. So I hope you have fun writing about things in this website and meeting people.

Welcome to our side of the wrong planet. . You'll likely find a lot of us with similar/same/related interests, so you'll never be alone here. Areas that will interest you would be the Games, Science, and Entertainment forums.

My interests: Various Anime (classical and modern Mecha/Sci-Fi/Fantasy), Magic: The Gathering, Sci-Fi (novels, movies, and games), Fantasy (same aspects as Sci-Fi), Math/Physics/Science concepts and theories, etc.

Again, welcome!
