Stuffed animals (especially ferrets)
This ball that has a squeaker and 3 detachable pieces
This net that had a hole in it
Duplos (huge Legos [normal Lego size squared])
Finding Nemo McDonald's Happy Meal toys
McDonald's Furbys
A Squidward toy from Burger King (SpongeBob SquarePants theme a few years ago)
Miss Party Surprise
Betty Spaghetti
Marbles (I collected them and put them in a clear plastic box-like container)
Crazy Bones (I played with them in the bathtub)
A United States foam puzzle that I now keep in a zippered pouch (Arielle likes to bite on them)
A Little Tikes outdoor plaything that we had to throw out a few years ago
Water noodles that we also had to leave behind a few years ago
A swing set that also had to be left behind
GameBoy Advance
A plastic wagon that's now next to my fort, holding empty plant pots

When I was younger, I had to have almost anything. Today that's to a way lesser degree. Most toys I didn't play with, but most of these ones I listed I did play with. Some of them I still do, but some listed are on display in my room.

Mines were:
Playmobils
Legos (hadn't much of these at home, but there were plenty of them at my child minder's. I still love them)
Puzzles
Music boxes.
My brother's microscop and Spyrographs.

My parents gave me dolls and Barbies when I was little, but that was not my cup of tea. Seeing that I loved dinosaurs, they gave me dinosaurs figurines, but I hated them because they were not like they should have been. ie: stegosaurs had big sharp carnivors' teeth, and a figurine labelled "tyranosaur" had three fingers on its forelimbs. Nonsense!

  • lego
  • zaks (little interlocking square and triangular panels)
  • spyrograph
  • microscope
  • marbles and a frisbee (frisbee had a conic indentation and I would build towers of marbles using it as a base)
  • tops and a box lid (spin tops in lid, tilt lid to get tops to collide)
  • paper airplanes
  • beads and plastic tubing (I would fire the beads out of the tubing)
  • crayons (they melt really nicely under a 60W bulb, but it is not nice trying to get the wax out of the carpet)

As a child, I remember liking to draw a lot. Come to think of it, I think I was slightly obsessive in what I drew: picture after picture of spiders, mites, and other insects I'd seen. I also liked Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Ghostbusters, and Transformers action figures and Hot Wheels. I also recall playing with Duplos and such things. I remember my brother and I used to build laser guns out of Duplos and have shootouts. With Linkin' Logs, we'd build rival forts and have battles against one another.
