Do you get trick or treaters in your neighborhood?

I live in a neighborhood and we do not get any kids. One year we got like eight but last year we got none. Is it just my neighborhood or do kids not go as much like they used to?

I live in an apartment building. They usually don't have a lot of kids. I had only 3 trick-or-treaters this year, so I ended up with a lot of candy leftovers. Since candy keeps well for quite some time, I'm sure I'll finish all of it myself before Thanksgiving.

We had a few come down our street. Some weren't even in costumes (they got zero for effort and they didn't deserve any treats). We gave out some fun size Mars bars.

used to here, but now that most of the "kids" are now grown and now drive cars, so i dont get any trick or treaters anymore (last and this year)

I myself, I don't give out candy, last time we gave out candy I was really little and lived with my grandmother.

We get plenty here. It probably varies a lot between countries.

We used to get a lot, but this year we only got about a dozen. We get less and less each year.

Even with a busted light, we still got 60. We have a LOT of kids in our neighbourhood.

We got 19. Bf's mom handed candy out. She made candy bags for 24. Then thought she'd run out and went and bought more candy. Yeah...we got a bunch of candy leftovers. We took the kids to my parent's neighborhood and got a ton of candy! My mom said she may have gotten around 300 trick or treaters.

I think too it has to do with who lives in the neighborhood. My parents live in a neighborhood where everyone is younger and has kids. We live in a neighborhood of grouchy old people who call the city on you for almost anything. Actually, our whole city is made up of a bunch of old grouchy people. lol! Also, could be because there are so many forclosed houses and houses for sale in our area.

Not as much as usual, but still probably about 20-30 kids came by, it was 45 degrees Fahrenheit so that might have had something to do with it too. I always think it's weird that teenagers do it. It just doesn't seem right to me that teenagers go trick or treating, isn't this a fun thing for you know, KIDS?

I'm thinking next year I should make hot dogs and give them out, that will make the kids come back. :D

Of course my parents didn't think that would be right, but who cares.

our neighborhood has aged significantly so there are very few these years. The children of the parents that live here have moved all over so the grandkids don't really come around that often.
