How often do you laugh?

How often do you cry?

I can't remember the last time I laughed out loud. The closest I come is an almost inaudible chuckle accompanied by a half smile (unless I am trying to humor someone in which case I make the chuckle slightly louder and the smile more pronounced). I don't cry often, but the last time time was back in August when my dog that I had for 11 years had to be put down due to a brain tumor.

I laugh quite often. I love comedy shows or making jokes. Last night I watched 3 of the funniest shows in a row. I was in stitches.
Cry...hmm...maybe once a month. Depends on what situation I'm in.

I laugh all the time. I love to laugh ("I love to laugh! Ha Ha Ha Ha! Loud and long and clear!" - Mary Poppins). I'll find any excuse to. Lots of silly things amuse me.

I don't cry very often. Except when I drink to much I occasionally break down about things. Certain music and movies will bring me to tears, but not full on crying.

I laugh a lot, especially when I watch a movie or tv.

I don't cry that much; mid forties male :!:

I was out on a two hour cycle ride yesterday and was thinking about a little boy who grew up alone and around people that he didn't understand and that didn't understand him.

I was wondering how things might have been if I could go back in time and tell him that everything would be ok and to tell him how incredibly special and wonderful he is.

I started to sob; I was grieving for him.

I can't go back but he will do just fine.

He will find his way through life, he will be successful and in about 40 years, he will join WP and post this message and tell everyone that he made it and that he is glad to be home.

I don't really laugh hard about stuff, I just giggle for a while or have this odd smirk I can't get rid of so people look at me weird.

Cry? I think the last time was about a girl I liked and I was obsessed about her(not like the sort of thing like "frrrrriiiiieeeennnd" creepy thing) and had planned all these different dates, wrote out a letter to her dad about how I feel and stuff, and then I mention to her one night over aim(only private time i have to talk with the certain girl) and it was a sort of no at first and it made me cry a bit because I had all this stuff planned out, months went by and I was really depressed about that and how much of a freak I am for being 17(at the time) and not having a job, license or friends to really talk deeply to. I got so worked up I was searching best/quickest/easier/painless ways to kill myself. Every night before bed I played over and over in my head me jumping out of my second story bedroom window. I still notice high places that are relativity easy to get to and wonder what angle I would need to land perfectly for an instant death. So yes, I think about death often, the reason I'm still here?? Fear of what's on the other side.

I usually don't laugh out loud, I guess because I'm self-conscious, but sometimes I do if I get really into the moment.
I cry.. too often. XD;; I'm not usually sad or anything, but the slightest little thing makes me cry. It's soooo stupid. I really want to get better at not randomly tearing up.

I do both all the time...I can't help but get upset and cry when I face adversity or stress; not to mention when I get to feel lonely, unloved and depressed. It doesn't bother me to cry in private (it's cathartic and I usually feel better afterwards), but I have a problem with crying in public; I am an adult male after all, and that's generally frowned upon. I get embarrassed, and cry some more. As for laughing, I will think of something funny and laugh out randomly in front of others, who probably then think that I'm nuts.

I'm with you with the laughing out loud when I am sitting/walking alone in a public area.

Earlier in the year I read a book that would cause me to go regularly go into hysterical laughter and I remember usually being in starbucks when I did this.

Well, it's one way of making sure you have a table to yourself I guess :jester:

I giggle more than laugh and quite often, the sound of people laughing makes me giggle so programs with real laughing make me giggle, I like slapstick comedy to.
I cry watching films because I get so involved, more than I am in life, not a whole lot in life makes me cry.

I laugh often, but it's a coping mechanism.

I hardly ever cry...largely because of past emotional traumas.

"Laugh" daily, haven't cried in over 10 years. I have gone through depression within those years, didn't cry once.

But you didn't distinguish laughing from "fake laughing". I fake laugh daily, I don't have uncontrollable/real laughter daily.

I don't know what the definition of laugh is here, but I chuckle at least once a day - usually more.

I cry about once a month on average.

I love to laugh and I laugh a lot. Sometimes, not often, while trying to get to sleep, I start telling myself these very funny things, one after another and I start cracking up, laughing hysterically. I should write these things down and see if they still sound as funny in the morning.

Sometimes I will cry during a sad movie. Or if I remember something that happened in the past. But I haven't cried, I mean, really cried in a very long time, many years. I used to cry regularly whenever life got too miserable. I always felt much better afterward. Renewed. I wish I could cry again.

I laugh a lot, but not always at things that are generally considered to be funny. I will laugh when uncomfortable and when in extreme pain. It keeps the people in the Emergency Room entertained, at any rate. I also laugh at things that are considered socially inappropriate. Not making fun of other people (why that makes people laugh, I'll never understand)... I just have the sense of humor of a 13-year-old-boy, but am actually a 26-year-old woman.
I cry a lot, too, but very rarely do I sob. Most of my crying is silent and it's usually just a couple of tears. If I'm really crying hard, I'm probably throwing things and yelling, too. That's anger. No wonder emotions are so darned confusing!
