He doesn't tell me how to feel but he keeps speaking on behalf of me in saying this is how AS people respond. Thus, he is telling others how I would feel and interact.

I also have had my share of specialist (mostly - some very +) But I can't stop recommending his books / interviews to psychiatrist (who shamefully sometimes never had even heard the name before) /parents/family/close friends , he has the ability to translate what I would like to say ..
Also where does he tell you how you feel? (of course this is a very general/short interview and we are all very different..)
