I have just been looking at Asperger videos on youtube and recognize facial similarities especially in children.

If 100 photos of faces were shown and twenty were autistic i think i would be able to pick out a large percentage of the autistic faces.

I can also tell if someone is gay, just by there eyes, the eyes are female.

Anybody else have this ability or recognize autistic facial characteristics.

What do you see specifically? Is it expression or features only?

Hmm, there's a person or two here that look like they could be family members of mine. I have my father's features and they are deep set eyes with dark circles, very high cheekbones, sharp nose with little to no bridge. My jawline is not strong. One person here has eyes so much like mine it gives me a little jolt when I see her avatar.

I'd like to say it's the eyes, but I think it's more likely the expression in them that gets me. I've watched you-tube videos too and I saw one of my sons (not the Nt one), myself, my father and several unnamed children from my childhood. It was daunting.

People always said my eyes were to wide, I think they still are. I catch a glimpse of myself sometimes, or see a picture and see how odd I look, so I try to squint enough to make them more narrow. I immediatly look more normal. I gues I have the aspie stare, or whatever they call it.

Yes, I think that many autistic/Aspie have some facial/trait in common, not always the same, there is a dispersion as usual, but there are trait more frequent than in normal people, expecially in children and more severe autistic. I see 2 kind of "common faces" one is the one you described with large forehead and sunken eyes that both me and my daughter have, and another I used to see (expecially in female) is the one of my wife. Very young looking, large and starring eyes with an "oval" head.

1. Lesbians have female eyes? Really?

2. Does this mean bisexuals have only one female eye?

Me and my boyfriend are aspies and we are both baby faced with big round eyes and oval heads. Neither of us have deep set eyes, a pointy nose, or a nose with no brim. Our facial features and proportions are incredibly similar. We volunteer with the mentally handicapped and one of them asked if we were brother and sister.

I'm 19 and look about 11/12. My sister is 13 and looks older than me. 8O

People have also told me frequently throughout my life that I have a nymph like appearance.

yes, it seems either to be either elfin or cherubic-but it's all just speculation anyway.

I am not sure if there is an aspie look or not really, as when I met up with some from this forum, we didn't seem to share any physical characteristics. With myself, the only thing that stands out is people think I am younger than I am and I have deep set eyes.

I'm sorry, but I'm skeptical. A person's heritage (African, Asian, European, ect) would have significant impact on facial features. If you were presented with 5 pictures of persons of different heritage (one Asian, one African, one Eskimo, one white European, and someone from a Pacific Island like Hawaii), do you really think you could pick the one person?

As for the gay eyes...
