I come to realization about something we know absolutely nothing, but by admitting that we know nothing enables us to know all there is about life. I am not a good writer, so my ideas may seem a little weird not seem right, but I am sure if I spun them a certain way you all would be eating out of my hands, thinking that what I said was truth, when in fact its all lies as there are many infinite possibilities for every action we do. I remember one day sitting in the library of my school, and hearing a young child asking his mother "why" to everything and when she answered his questions "why" will surely follow, and if they kept asking, surely at some point their mother/father would not have an answer to "why." Children know to ask "why" and not to take things for granted. For this "fact" I believe kids are the smartest people the planet right now, and the stupidest thing I ever laid eyes upon. All I am saying is why do we do the things we do: because society tells us its right? because its moral? for self interest? How do we know what is right is right? Don't follow those, or follow it to tee if you wish.

I hope you enjoyed, I wish we longer but I fault at collecting my ideas in an orderly fashion because I am stupid, and the smartest man alive. And remember facts are just opinions in disguise.

Ps: I think Aspies are the social butterfly's of the world, and we can get anyone, anywhere to like us instantly.

If you know you know nothing you know something. I suggest you review the basic principles of logic.

I think his statement is more philosophical than logical, but it is true nonetheless.

The beginning of wisdom is to acknowledge that you know nothing. With that you open your mind to consider ideas for critical consideration. The moment you think you are wise, you start shutting out ideas and make yourself more of a fool.

No it isn't. I know my name. That is something. Therefore the statement that I know nothing is false.

Interesting. And ruveyn is very literal. At least no one is wholly ignorant.

I know the word "five" has four letters, but I think there is another way of making that statement a tautology. _ This will not show up correctly in the post.

Above is a feeble attempt at making a symbol for the number 5 using four strokes.

Some imaginative kids have stated that 2+2=22, and this is easier to see. :D

Numerals are arbitrary symbols, so when we state 2+2=4, we are using conventional symbols to make the statement true. If we say 2+2=5, then we end up trying to define what we mean when we are using conventional symbols to mean something outside the convention.

Once I thought I knew everything, but as I learned more and more I knew less and less... Soon I'll have learned so much that I know nothing at all.

Or something to that effect. :)

In the first years of the Soviet Union, the first 5-year plan was labelled '2+2=5', because they wanted the 5 year targets done in 4 years...true story.

no one is every totally useless; they can always serve as a bad example...;)

If you know nothing, then that is something...;)

2+2 = 5, for extremely large values of 2.

Though, in the classification system for river, sizes when two streams merge:
2+2=3.

No actually don't know your name it actually is just a number given to you by the soviets, using the rational "I think therefore it is," you think differently who is right?

I stated in that sentence that I know all. I suggest you read before you write.
