I'm curious to know, are there any Christian Aspies out there (I mean those who are very serious about their faith, having an active prayer life and believing in the Bible as God's word) who are actively interested in dating/marriage?

Surely I'm not the only one!

I definitely believe and follow God but not in the traditional sense.

I'd like to date but more concerned about finish high school at the moment.

Always a good plan, as far as focusing on school.

I am a Lutheran, and also not practicing in the traditional sense.

I'm a conservative christian and I'm very interested in a serious, long term relationship.

Yes, that is what I mean, a conservative, devout Christian.

Any women who fit the above? :P

I am not an expert on dating, but wouldn't you find these ladies in the Church of your choice?

Merle

I'm a conservative, orthodox Catholic and would love to have a serious relationship.
As for finding a man at church, I've been told I'm too "eccentric" so I guess that's why the men avoid me.

Merle

I go to a church of 3500 people (I've learned how to avoid the crowds) and it seems that all the women my age that are best suited to a long term relationship are already taken.

I am a Christian, but I still have ties to my "old ways" which is very conflicting. It's hard to meet Christians who believe and rely on God as much as I do that would be willing to accept me. My current boyfriend of 4 years is kind of a luke warm Catholic. I tend to get along with atheists and agnostics because they are at least willing to discuss religion and why I believe/why they don't believe, but that would not give me the kind of relationship that I am really looking for. We would always be going in different directions philosophically. I guess that's why I stay with my luke warm Catholic....

WP isn't the best place to find such people, because most people on here are atheists or practice paganism.

My only hope is that someone else will convert and move to the Austin-San Antonio area.

There do seem to be a lot of people on here who are not particularly religious or spiritual. Perhaps that is because God can be abstract to some people and that makes Him hard to understand. I have been very blessed in that He has made Himself very, very real to me. Thus, my faith is very, very real. I don't know if I would be considered "conservative" or not. I love Jesus and have accepted Him into my heart, believe what the Bible says and pray a lot, but I don't actively attend church and can be quite guilty of cursing and the like.

There is a website that is in the works. It's not a dating website (thank God!) but will combine Christianity and neurodiversity. I'm not going to say much about it right now, mostly because it is not my brainchild and I don't know where (or if) it's going from here. More about it later... maybe.

But I think I digress. You are not the only one, even though it certainly must feel that way. To repeat what I said in another post, one of the biggest reasons I no longer attend church is because everyone around my age is married (and because I'm too afraid to go to a new church filled with new people). That makes it very hard to find someone to be with!

Yes and yes. I don't even know if there is "a one" out there for me but I'd like to think there is.

I'm a christian woman with AS and I do believe that God made someone just for me, I believe this because I see it with my sister and her boyfriend. My sister had bipolar and ADHD and can be a handful alot of the time and her boyfriend is very calm and patient with her when she cycles from manic to depressive and when she is particulary slap happy due to her ADHD. Only God could have pre ordained their relationship because not many people would stay with someone with a mood disorder and he takes her at her very best and at her very worst: only God could make something like that work.

That is so true.
