Absolutely.
Sleep, among other things, helps me recover from overloads -- sensory and social. Not enough means I wake up at a disadvantage. Cycle this over for a long time and you have my high schoo/college years. :tired:

Do you seriously think there's a human being on this little blue planet that doesn't feel drained after not getting enough sleep? Hint: there's not.

Yes, of course. Lack of sleep, lack of food, physical exhaustion, etc. all exacerbate meltdowns and overloads and general anxiety/stress.

I know they are but I was wondering if for Aspies whether you more more prone to meltdowns when you didn't get enough sleep. I know everyone does it but I was curious if we tend to be affected more. :-)

Sleep Deprivation and Low Blood Sugar will cause a meltdown in the sanest and saintliest.

Why do you think they use sleep deprivation as TORTURE? :eew:

I think so.
When I don't have enough sleep, not only I feel tired, but also I feel frustrated for nothing.
But it's OK.
Just relax.
Go to bed early the other day, have good rest.
Everything will be back to normal.
