it's fun wehn you go with a bunch of people you know, but it's not really my idea of a good time.

I hate the taste of alcohol personally, so very rarely buy it.

I generally don't go out much and I have a very low tolerance for alcohol. Occasionally though I like to go out and have a Guiness with friends.

Although for the past year or so I can't drink at all since I'm on depression meds.

As I may have mentioned before, I do like a drink

I rarely go out if I can help it, occasionally to see a band but never clubbing. I went out to rock clubs when I was younger, but was usually off my face so the noise/crowds didnt bother me that much.

I don't really do either of the aforementioned things.

I have gone out to parties a few times with friends, but I have stopped doing that, since I realized that I only tend to want to spend 15 min to a half hour there, and it is not worth the effort and money to go. I have danced a few times, but generally the loud music becomes too much for me after a short amount of time, and I feel the need to leave, or I can't think or enjoy myself.

I don't like the taste of alcohol, and I get a wierd disembodied feeling which I find unenjoyable if I drink.

I don't do those things either...I love to dance but the club environment is kind of shallow, and I don't like to drink. I like going places like coffee shops, especially on open mic night, or just dancing around in my living room :)

sometimes.
Well the clubs I go to are gay bars actually.

I've pretty much figured out the interactions involved. But sometimes i'll just feel uncomfortable and I can't do my NT act any more so then usually I just go home.

But when i'm OK I do alright. Can even get picked up if I so choose (though anonymous sex is something I choose not to engage in).

It's easier if there are farmilar people there I can talk to or just hang out with.

I've tried to do the club thing many times, but I usually don't enjoy it. I like a drink or two, but that's a problem in itself because I drink way too much when I'm nervous. I got so smashed one time last year that I somehow managed to get quite a bad cigarette burn on my arm without even noticing... so going to clubs is pretty bad for my health. Nothing beats seeing a good band play live though. :)

I've never been clubbing, and I think I wouldn't stand it if I were in a club.
I don't drink alcohol.
I sometimes go out with my friends, that is to say: going to the cinema and occasionnaly going to a pub afterward.
I like it best when we watch DVDs together at home and have dinner.

I rarely go out with friends.
I have never been clubbing and I do not really want to. I do not like the atmosphere that seems to be there : too many people, too much noise...
I do not like alcohol so I do not drink.
But I enjoyed going out to do sports (tennis, ice skating), or to the movies.

Drinking mixes is all good. I enjoy Pubs, "Clubs" as you put it give you no opportunity to talk to people.

Yes it is easier going clubbing than going to pubs or bars for me because there is no pressure to talk to people all the time. If you are a fan of dance music like me then clubbing is an amazing experience. I don't drink that much when going clubbing as it’s often more expensive than a pub, there is always bottled water.

As for town centre clubbing then that’s not for me, as they are full of binge drinkers listening to cheesy vocal music.

It really depends what you're after. If you don't feel chatty, and just want to dance or have a bit of fun, clubs are really good, great for dancing.

Pubs are a better place to catch up with friends or just relax.

Some clubs offer free coke to the sober drivers - I find alcohol too expensive to buy in clubs so i usually stay sober and have water and coke.
