Hi, I played Resident Evil 4 on my ps2... and loved it... the guns, the yokels, the setting... all except that stupid cow Ashley... I hate escort missions, so great idea capcom, make the entire game one.... but thankfully she was kidnapped for most the game hehehe. I got Resident Evil 5 for my pc yesterday, yes the graphics are nice... but there's a huge shortage of ammo, Sheva is basicly a walking dustbin for unwanted ammo... no sooner do I give her some than it is gone! and The inventory system is just plain annoying, I loved Resi 4s system I like arranging stuff though... also, the zombies in Resi 5 are practically invincible! for shots to the head and still he just wont die! I wan't to like Resi 5, I just can't:( I will play it again tonight, and try to enjoy it more, except that chainsaw wielding nutter will be waiting for me:( Do you prefer Resi 4 or 5?

Resi 4. Anyday. It just felt more survival horror than on rails shooter where you get you get to control the rails.

Mind you, ima right resi evil fanboy and <3'd both games.

I did Resdent Evil 5 with a NT friend, Great game to cooperate in.

However I guess the single player mode in 4 is the better, haven't played it myself, but it's fabolus to watch, even if chaisaw-crazy woman cut the head off unsuspecting players

I've played the 4 on the Wii and the 5 on the 360. The graphics alone makes the difference (plus other things), definitely the 5, a great game.

Neither.

I thought 5 had way way way too much ammo and way overpowered guns, even running through it with my (then) 10 year old sister.

4 was too cutesy anime. Especially the end.

I haven't played RE 5 but I have RE 4. As a third person shooter, it is mediocre. The controls felt slow and muddy and there was no moving and shooting at the same time. You couldn't use a chainsaw, having to escort someone throughout the game was frustrating, and I used a Codebreaker because I got sick of the crappy weapons they give you at the start. Just give me an Iron Butterfly with infinite ammo and infinite rockets and it's really easy. Survival/horror is just an excuse to make a crappy game.

I don't find either at all scary (apart from the big tall black stretchy monsters in the labs in RE4) and what was apparently the scariest game ever I found to be not at all scary... silent hill... it relies purely on gore, which isn't scary
