I was just curious as to what BitTorrent client everybody uses.

I use BitTorrent. I used to use BitComet, until I heard that it's bad for the protocol.

Transmission (daemon), because I use it on a network-server.

I use Vuze to search for torrents (it has a nice Firefox toolbar). Then I use Transmission for the actual downloads, because it has a very small footprint on my system & gets the job done.

Vuze. I like the interface and the detailed statistics for DL/UL.

I find it strange that so many people claim to use a particular client because it has a "small footprint". The last time I noticed a performance impact from using a torrent client, was when I was running an AMD 2000xp+ system, and even then I don't think it was a big deal. :)

Transmission, because it's the default in most GNOME-based Linux distros and it's the best-supported under OS X. Never tried out any of the others, but my torrent needs are simple enough that I just use the first thing I find.

Bittorrent 6.0 on my Doze box and Transmission on my Linux boxes.

Which I only use for distro downloads. *wink*
