WorldsEdge, you are LUCKY! I want those first three on your list. I'm on one of them, Wellbutrin, and I'm also on Abilify, which is also great for motivation.
Every bipolar person I meet tells me I am bipolar and need to be on meds.
Buryontime, my parents think meds are bad too and they tell me to stay away from psychiatric hospitals. My mother said that if I want to live a long time I should stay away from psych hospitals and my dad said he didn't like the way I was when I was on Abilify. Both of them said they noticed that my sense of humor turned off or something when I was on Abilify. My bf didn't like Zyprexa for me. As he watched me raiding the kitchen cupboards, he said "This is no good; you're going to get diabetes."
But my bf says that I need antipsychotics and that it's very important that I take them, no matter what else I am on. He says, "Don't you think you need something besides an antidepressant?" He also said he wanted me on either an antipsychotic or an anticonvulsant. He thinks that Lamictal would be good for me, Abilify would be good for me, and Wellbutrin would do me good. I'm now on the last two. He thinks I should be on Lamictal too. He was on those 3 all at once and I'm so delighted to find that what works for him seems to work for me. We look alike too. I think we may be related.
LOL, Spokane Girl, good point, are doctors people???
