My "obsession" at the moment is the underrated and unfinished animated masterpiece, "The Thief and the Cobbler":

Where can I see a clip of what HAS been finished? (I couldn't find it on You Tube)

The title sounds intriguing and being a terminal completist, I simply must see this.

This may be another new obsession.

Should I announce this new obsession on a new post or just assume that it will be an obsession and treat this as my response post?

Just found it on you tube 'The Princess and the Cobbler'

:D

Full Metal Alchemist, the manga. I feel a strange need to read it, even tough it's often less pleasant than playing videogames, while I read I'm not fully happy, sad mixed feelings are in the back of my mind, but for some reason I feel compelled to do that. It's strange, as usually my obsessions are accompanied only by positive feelings and a sense of ecitement.

I love The Thief and the Cobbler! I haven't seen it in ages though, I'll have to go track it down now.

Cursed Nickelodeon owns Ren and Stimpy now to my knowledge. I wonder what Kricfalusi is up to now? Do you know?

Don't know. I understand John K. has quit a personality for this, and he got into a bit of a trouble with Nickelodeon over the direction he was taking with this "children's cartoon".

I thought it was because he was too slow in production but I'm sure they were a little concerned about his subject matter. Funny though the stuff they were worried about are probably standard fare now. John K. really broke some ground with Ren and Stimpy. Maybe Nickelodeon got pressure from parents. I know one who cut off her kids from watching Dexter's laboratory because she imagined she saw pubic hair and another that's convinced that Spongebob and Patrick are gay lovers.

1. Digitizing my collection of cassette tapes.
2. Helping to resolve a conflict between two fellow volunteers in the music club.
3. Messing about with money sums to find out when I'll be able to afford to leave my job.

Obsession 1. will take me so long that I'll probably die of old age before I'm done with it.
Obsession 2. is probably doomed to failure but I'm going for it anyway.
Obsession 3. will never produce a perfect forecast but my estimates get better as I continue to crunch the numbers.

Still obsessed with World of Warcraft. It's a good thing my bloke is too. But then I'd swear he's a little bit aspie...

The idea of kite flying is getting a look in though - I ordered my first aerofoil kite on Thursday. I keep spending my spare moments looking at every website I can find about kites now.

Thanks, did you hear the story of where the name Ren Hoek came from?

My current primary special interest is YouTube series "Is it a Good Idea to Microwave This?" Helga is my favorite microwave; season 6 is my favorite season.
