I know people with autism don't have good social skills and probably aren't the best at answering this. But still.. Maybe there are some psychologist nerds here. And that's what I need!

Well.. The title says it. We are stuck in the same campus too. And I don't think any of them are going to move before the semester is over.

I just witnessed the guy talking about his crazy emotions for my friend. Suddenly (in the middle of the rest of his madness) he pretended to have a full body paralysis because of "her love". And I only stayed because I seriously considered the possibility of him raping her.

I am really afraid about what he is capable of doing. He has told me that he is filled up with intense anger.

How the **** is she going to do about this? This guy is on meds for his hallucinations, but that doesn't stop him from being creepy in every possible way. Having aspie tendencies, I just noticed. But he has supposedly been doing creepy stuff for a long time.

I am also a bit frightened about what he might do to me, as my main "stim" (if I might say so, as I probably don't have asperger's in the clinical sense) is hugging. And she is a very good friend of mine, whom I constantly cling to (but not in the creepy way. And for the record, I am not into her at all).

Tell him to get away, if he doesn't threaten to call the cops?

There are a couple questions I have to clarify the situation.

1.) Is your friend actually "friends" with this guy, or is he just a shady dude that is hassling her randomly on campus?

2.) Has she specifically asked for your help in fixing the situation?

3.) Does he know where she lives?

I have a good friend who dealt with something along the same lines with a schizophrenic about a year ago; she lives in a different city though so I never met the guy and wasn't actively involved in the situation, I only heard about it after the fact. But I might have some insight if I understand a little more about where things stand currently.

She needs to let a campus counselor know as well as the campus security every single time that he does something weird. Every Time.

That's scary. If someone is a danger to themselves or someone else you should try to call the authorities and have them evaluated by mental health professionals. It's not his fault he's schizophrenic and it's not an extremely treatable illness, but your friend needs to be safe.

He may have been joking. It's extremely creepy and unfunny, but some people do get their kicks by acting this way.

I think if your friend actively avoids him and is careful not to walk alone at night or in isolated areas, she should be ok. If it goes any further (i.e. he starts harassing her to her face or trying to touch her), then talk to the person in charge of the campus.

I think you would be entitled in this instance to tell him to 'shut the hell up' if he starts going on about her again; she is your friend after all.
