:( I have terrible pain when I go to the gyno. I can't make it through a regular exam. I don't have sex so I don't know whether or not I would have pain during intercourse. But I know it's abnormal. Could it be caused by a cyst I have on my ovary or is it caused by something else?

could be a cyst on your ovary, could be something else.
maybe a scan would show what the problem is.

Well if it is during an exam it might be the size of the speculum I am not sure if it is an overy per se. It might be another issue. Not all women have the same depth, I think the possible issue is with the speculum, it might be too large. My doctors generally use a mini-speculum with me because the larger one just plain hurts. I am rather sympathetic, I do have an issue with pain during exams. I am not sure I would equate the problems you have during exams with potential problems with sex though, from my own experience that can be a very different thing.

You might be very dry. This can happen after menopause or because of diabetes. You need to mention it to your doctor.
