Just thought I'd share with my fellow aspies how I'm feeling today. I'm quite overwhelmed and don't know how to handle it. Every little thing that goes wrong drives me nuts. Ever get that? I feel like only certain people in my family understand how I feel and why I act the way I do sometimes. You ever feel misunderstood? At least my mom and dad know how I feel because they go through the same thing. I've been having some really deep depression lately, too. I've even had some suicidal thoughts. I know I should be seeing a psychiatrist about this, but I can't afford one. I need to get some medical insurance as soon as possible. I went to a therapist last Friday and had to pay her $100. A lot of the time I feel like just curling up in a ball. I find it sort of comforting. I'm sure a lot of you understand how I feel. I'm glad I joined this website. I can just express my feelings freely. Any thoughts?

I remember when I was 15 and had suicidal thoughts like you due to misunderstandings and loneliness. My diagnosis was like the icing on the cake at the time. I too often have a habit of obsessing over everything that goes wrong, though I'm so introverted that only my family notices it or I choose to let it be known.

How about a person to talk to? I can't guarantee I'll be the greatest help, but I'm here if you need someone to listen.

Yeah, I know how you feel. If you don't have money, look for someone on Craigslist to do something interesting with.

When I was having one of my existential crisises in 2006-2007, I found another guy there who was into martial arts and we filmed goofy fight choreographies on weekends.

It may have been pointless, but it gave me SOMETHING TO DO, which was very important, and it made me feel like a human being that can be interacted with.

I definitely can relate to how you feel. I felt like that almost every day last month. Most of the time I'm not like that though. I'll go for long stretches of time when I'm not like that, and then will go through a short period of time when I am like that.
