How typical is it to take ages to change routine, even if you want to? I dont consider myself to have a fixed routine that I feel I need to stick to or anything but yet theres certain things I keep going back to that id like to change, but before I got stuck nto those ways it was something else. Maybe id get more done with more structure in my day, I dunno. Im asking all this in relation to the population in general rather than only a certain group.

It's hard for me to break or change a routine. When I try to stop it or change it I keep going back to the same thing. I think I can only change if I write it down and give a certain time to do this new routine, and then one day just push myself to do it.

I'm angry even when sb is in bathroom when I want. Or changes places of my cosmetics :D

Even if my favourite band brings new album out, I need a time to put it into My Thoughtpictures-And-Tags System. So I don't accept it on the beginning. But everybody around knows there's new album of X, I have speakflood

I sometimes agressive behave because sth/sb destroys My Great Wonderful Plan. I know it's little stupid. When I am in public place I only press my hands or do some motions but I'm trying to not show too much and don't use dirty words.

I don't think I have much of a routine. I just do things spontaneously.

My routines don't cover every moment of everyday and I prefer to be spontaneous at other times. But, I long ago accepted the utility of routine. I can be a bit slow to figure things out, and I can be a bit ditsy. Routine is a good coping mechanism for both. Routine frees me from having to re-figure stuff out or worrying about forgetting something.

I can make small changes to my routines faster and more frequently than big changes. I've found that if I anticipate that the change will somehow make me happier (or at least less unhappy...) then I can enact the change faster. Just focus on how you think the change will benefit you. You want to experience the benefit, right? Assuming you do, the only thing left is to practice the change. If you eventually determine that you were wrong and no longer see the benefit, then go back to your old ways!
