Snape's death was tragic, most people would agree, but don't you see that harry was giving Severus a gift as he died. Harry has lily's eyes so Snape was looking into lily's eyes as he died =D, SO SAD!! !.
But also, don't you think that Snape was an awesome character, everyone thought he was evil, but evil things happened to him, i love the fact that he tried so hard to redeem himself but they still didn't trust him.
Im looking forward to the movie but im sad it's that last one , Sev was always the best!

Not trying to be negative here. I won't read the series. My relatives would talk about it sometimes, enjoying Potter books.

No, no I do not like Snape. I like Alan Rickman though, he makes the character bearable.

Until the end of the book when Harry looks at Snape's memories in the Pensive I absolutely hated him, then he was one of my favorites.

Yes, I like Snape, though I didn't really until the Pensieve scene.

Best five minutes of my life, the Pensieve scene at 4:30AM on release day.

Dumbledore's death was planned between him and Snape. Dumbledore was going to die anyway because of the curse from Marvolo's-ring-turned-horcrux-by-Riddle. And if Snape didn't do it, Draco would have been killed because Draco was supposed to kill Dumbledore, but he couldn't because he was too scared.

Dumbledore had to be killed by Snape, else Draco would have been killed for not fullfilling his task, Snape for breaking his vow and in the end Dumbledore would die anyway because of the ring...
