A lot of games these days have epic, movie quality intros that deserve recognition . . . even some bad games have awesome intros. Post the ones that caught your eyes.

And a hearty vote of appreciation for the TA intro. I never could work out why those AKs were fighting a Slasher though. Or whatever that light Core tank is called.

Oh, TA was my all time favorite and, oddly, my younger brother was against me getting it in the first place . . . he later apologized for doubting me . Sadly, there are only a few units i remember from the game, added or otherwise: Core's Krogoth, Arm's Maverick and Shooter . . . that game was one of those gems in game history that few people realize.

Relics cutscenes and stories own. Nice call with Homeworld. One of my alltime favorites. Actually, it's the title that prompted me to pursue sound design professionally.

When Dawn of War came out, it's intro prompted many a re-watch from me.

However, it's not Relic that made that intros, its a different company they contracted. Their work is jaw-dropping. DoW2's intro is equally incredible, but wasn't quite so surprisingly advanced as when DoW dropped. The first one was way ahead of the curve.
