Here in Pennsylvania. She made tons of good points when it comes to Autism and AS. Most of it was stuff I already knew (the lighting used in schools isn't good for those with sensory issues) and she talked about her personal exsperiences with Autism. I think she should be looked at as a role model for people on the spectrum.

Sorry my writing isn't the best at the moment. I actually went up to her and spoke with her before she spoke and just said thank you for educating NTs. Also I would like to note I saw a girl in what looked like an 80s yoga outfit that had AS so if your reading this PM me so we can talk I found you cute lol.

Anyways I would say if you have the chance to see her speak take it.

Temple Grandin is to Autism what Bobby Fishcer was to Chess.

If it's any consolation, the movie wouldn't exist without HBO. They made it.

The problem with Grandin is that she happened to accidentally fall into the right place. She got lucky. I would hate to see most of us simply try and emulate her, because 99% of us would fail. We have to enable ourselves by other ways.

i dont emulate her i simply respect the woman for her accomplishments. this was a time when people didnt know what autism was. im from a farm community so i would respect her for her work with livestock alone.
