i've been invited to an engagement party tonight, but can't decide wether to go.
Part of me says i should go, as i don't often get invited anywhere! but the other part of me just wants to sit at home in front of the computer. I put off going out because i usually end up sitting alone like a lemon(almost wrote melon then!). Also, it's going to be full of goths..and i always stick out cause i'm soo not goth!

revel in your individuality then, at least with your not being goth it will be a talking point!!

There are times when I'm invited to things and I'll remark to a trusted (in as much as I give trust) individual that I don't want to go.

"It's a free meal!" they'll say.

"I'd rather starve."

If I'm motivated, that's not a problem for me. If I'm not, that's a whole different story.

Force yourself out next time, force yourself out a few times after that, and if a few of them click with you and are good then it might get easier to leave the house.

Since you're not Goth you would have stuck out in the crowd and taken notice but some onlookers who might have fancied you.
