People who don't respect themselves and belittle others because of their low self esteem, other's who don't care or take the time to understand those are different even if their condition doesn't have a diagnosis.

Stupid people. I'm not talking about people who don't know better- those who find out something they didn't know and go, "Oh, huh. Did not know that." I'm talking about people who are presented with an idea or evidence of something and ignore that evidence, deciding it's too hard to think. People who WON'T learn. These people are usually also very arrogant and pushy and judgmental about their black/white view. I have NO patience for them.

I also can't stand mean people. IMO, it takes way more energy to be mean than it is to just be generally respectful.

i do not like people who assume undeserved authority.

i do not like people who "speak on behalf of others" when they are speaking only on behalf of themselves and assume others are all similar albeit subordinate to them and incapable to "take the lead".

i do not like people who are selfish and damage the nature of the world they live in so as to provide themselves with what they shallowly desire.

i do not like people who show no consideration for the lives of animals.

this may be contentious and i think i will be labeled "racist" (whatever...) but i feel swamped by indians and asians everywhere i go these days.

they have turned australia into a place where they are the prevailing bulk of the population, and they haggle and carp at each other as they do in asia and india, and they consider me to be inferior because i am not of their race.
all petrol stations in australia are run by indians or pakistani's, and all bakery shops are run by asians, and all the real estate agents are seemingly middle eastern, and they show less favor to white british descended australians than they do to their own race.

some chinese takeaway shops have their menu printed in chinese, and they do not speak english at all, so it is impossible to get food from them.

i went into a chinese shop recently where they had their scribble on the menu and i asked them what it meant.
me: can i have a small fried rice and a...
cashier:...ahhhh solly no understand.
me: a... small... fried... rice.. and... a...
cashier: ah solly we close.
me: it is only 7:30 and you are still taking orders from other....
cashier: solly we close you go.

grrr.

i was in a traffic jam to get into a supermarket car park, and i looked at the heads of all the people in the other cars, and they were all either indian or asian. their were no traditional australians among them.

i thought "well there you go!! this place has turned into a suffocating crush of asians and indians and i can not move left or right or backward or forward".

i do not think lowly of them but they breed like flies and they are happy to wait all day to move a few feet and i am not able to be free while they compress me into a never ending queue.......

sorry i am not well tonight and i am sure i will get lambasted for this but i am not timid enough to omit this part of my post.

i will leave sydney if this goes on..... but i can not leave because i have wild animal friends i must see every day and it is displeasing to me.

Pretty much everybody.

I think the people who most drive me nuts are those who glorify their own ignorance as if it were a virtue.

People who annoy me are the extremely outgoing, overly "peppy" types who always seem to be popular and have an entourage around them. They usually work in sales or public relations.

People I really dislike (or, dare I say, hate...) are:

- narcissists
- sociopaths
- psychopaths (one can be a psychopath without being a killer, btw, and more common than you might think)
- People who are just generally rude, stupid/ignorant, short-sighted and for whatever reason do not bother to try to get to know people before making judgments. These are those people who are otherwise "sane" but normally put their own interests and opinions far above those of all other people on the earth.

I think these two have summed my dislikes up, though I also find people highly irritating when they do any of the following:
* Swear excessively. Swearing every other word (almost literally in some cases!) is just meaningless.
* Say "like" or "you know" all the time - like, you know, like this, like.
* Chew with their mouth open.
* Walk slowly in front of me.
* Say "literally" when they mean "figuratively".

There are probably plenty more...

Some people are all of the above.

As a college student, I'd have to say that heavy drinkers/wild partiers rub me the wrong way. It's a good thing I go to an engineering school.

Perky, bubbly, cheerful, excited about (whatever) and go on and on about it, and assume that I am also interested in (whatever)

(When dealing with the public) When told that they can't have/do something because it is not here/not possible, will repeat endlessly "but I need it because (insert urgent, important, tragic, or self-centered reason here) in the apparent belief that if they say it enough they will magically get what they want

Likewise, stupid people, who think they know things that are not actually true and will not listen to any evidence to the contrary

People who love coffee, smoke a lot, and consider oral hygiene optional

People who make casually racist comments with the obvious assumption that of course I agree with them (and this is not a reference to b9's comments which are response to individual experience, it's the Archie Bunker unconscious habits)

People who are harsh or mean to small kids for not acting in a way appropriate to much older kids, instead of being patient because they are too small to understand

Anyways I'm glad you're brave enough to speak out against the yellow/red/brown plague which is clogging up our freeways and populace, and you should speak out for driving out this menace so that everyone can return to a traditional Australian lifestyle in peace.

douche bags.

Specific subsets of Douche Bag really clash with me:

- the anger-filled Ms Manners on Crack

- The arrogant know-it-all who in reality doesn't know crap about crap

- The jealous Attention Hore who thinks the world revolves around them/owes them a living

-The Twofaced

- Burger King douche (wants what they want the way they want it...or else)

- joyless wretch that is offended by references to TV shows/jokes that the person either has never heard before, or doesn't get, AND takes it to personal offense.

- the suckup/RL Sock Puppet

Variations include:

1. Loud spastic peppy people who insist to your face and everyone around that there is something wrong with you/what are you upset about/why don't you smile or talk/etc....you know the type.

2. People who ask a series of questions machine-gun style without pausing for answers, then sit there for half a second and want to know why you haven't answered them. Sometimes I ask if they could tell me which question they would like me to answer first (always good for pissing them off and making them go away), other times I just sit and stare at them until they ask again, then I say, "Oh, I wasn't sure if you were done yet."

3. People who do not know how to shut up and L-I-S-T-E-N. This includes conversationally or during movies. During the latter I typically point out that any information/insight that I might be able to give them in response would come from the same source that is available to them: shutting up and paying attention. With respect to the former I just walk away or quit talking. It is this group that I have still not been able to find a productive way to deal with IE they double my blood pressure and heartrate instantly every single time to the point of needing to remove myself from the situation before I say or do anything that I will regret. If I think that there's not much of a price to pay I'll go ahead and unload on them verbally--usually a decompressing torrent of stuff that doesn't seem so bad to me but witnesses find very uncomfortable over the top, hateful, etc. Whatever---I absolutely cannot stand people who cannot or choose not to listen, talk right over the top of other people, etc.

4. Know it all's......whether they are correct or not is irrelevant, though most of the time they're just flippin' idiots.

Hey--thanks for the opportunity to vent!
