:( Just joined an hour ago I read one of the member's comments and I mean to get back to her We share alot in common My son has diagnosed Asperger's and I suspect I have
some form of it or bi polar I am currently umemployed and job hunting and I struggle with
interviews and the workplace I do feel I am socially challenged but mostly not being able
to cope with other's intimidating behaviors I feel like I am ready to explode all the time and
that I really don't belong anymore My motto has become: Stop the world I want off!

On a brighter and creative side of me: I just finished several courses on web site developing
and enjoyed that in the privacy of my home I find public classrooms to be distracting and was able to absorb my material more thoroughly I hope to be a web designer some day but
have quite a few courses to continue on to and polish my skills so at least there is a goal for me

All my other career ventures fizzled because of bad work environments I could have really grown and made something of myself but here I sit without an income which is totally frustrating, all because people are too hard to deal with and they make it that way
The workplace is nothing but ridicule and harassment, and unfairness it really does stunt your growth

My son suffers the same social ordeals except he is actually officially disabled but loves to earn
extra money for his pleasures He is young though, in another 10 years he may not be able to deal with the abuse any longer either

Welcome to WP. Good luck with those courses. Web design is a good career right now.

I sympathize with both of you. It took me many years to learn how to cope (with lots of help and support, btw.) I wish you both the best.

Again, welcome. Glad you're here. :)
