This I could believe. ASD... no way. She's an actor, and no I don't mean her profession... she can't act her way out of a paper bag. I mean her personality type. She's a complete b***h to everone on the set, and is then all smiles when the media show up to interview her and take pictures for the magazines. ASD people tend to be themselves all the time, for good or bad.
That's just one reason why she couldn't be ASD. She's messed up somehow though. And she's a total airhead trailer-trash tatoo covered slu*ty girl with substance abuse issues. Yuck.
Believe it or not, I think it's very easy for someone, a woman especially, with AS to come across a b***h because shyness and social avoidance can easily be interpreted as snobbishness and most AS women aren't very good at being as warm as society says women should be. When people don't sense that warmth from a woman, she gets labeled as cold or a b***h whether she was actually uncivil or not.
And while we are not good at lying, I've seen many individuals with AS and autism who can act. I've seen many moderately functioning individuals who are very good at mimicing parts from movies and singing right on key, and I've known a few academic types with AS who could give a two hour lecture to an entire lecture hall yet could barely have a spontaneous conversation with someone.
A lot of actors are horribly shy but can work with a script fine. I saw Kim Bassinger one I think it was Jay Leno once and she was nervous enough for me to notice.
Mind you, that has to be pretty nervous because last time my brother was nervous I just thought he was too hot. I would have gone the whole evening thinking he was hot if my sister hadn't commented on how nervous he looked.
