Have any of you seen this program?

I caught an episode last night on PBS. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at anything british besides Mr. Bean.

You've never seen Fawlty Towers before? Unbelievable. "You'd better go and lie down before something else happens!"

I'm really surprised too, to hear that Fawlty Towers isn't well known in the US. It's pretty much an institution in Australia as well. Only M*A*S*H has had more re-runs.

I have the boxed set of the series and we watch them pretty often, It's one of the funniest series ever. I love John Cleese. It was on here in the US for years, but that's been some time ago.

I used to love watching that show. I dunno if it's still on and I know I was very young when I did watch it, but I never watch tv anymore so even if it was on I wouldn't be seeing it..

Fawlty towers, according to some research/study or something, Basil Fawlty may well be an aspie.

i watched fawlty towers when it was on bbc1, but there as a double dvd on promotion in a newspapers not too long ago,,, as i work ina shop i got the dvds for nothing.. togeteher have about 12 eps of fawlty towers. my favorite one has to be the one where mr fawlty is showing a rather irritating woman her room, and she complains that in the brochure it stated the room had a sea view. mr fawlty says the sea is over there, and the woman replies 'well its not good enough!' ... then complains about the bath and the radio lol

I've watched Fawlty Towers for a long time now. Have the very short series on dvd. The German episode is my favorite so far. :)
