Do you ever miss playing with toys?

Its a confusing thought that has come to my mind a lot lately, and I'm not quite sure why. I think I actually miss playing with toys. Action figures, hot wheels, stuffed animals, legos, etc, building things and then playing out strange and bizarre stories that were made up on the spot. It doesn't make a lot of logical sense, especially since the last few times I ever played with toys, it wasn't fun, creating stories on the spot became awkward, and it really just didn't work. So why am I missing it now? Do any of you miss it?

Not really, I just miss how much cheaper they were than cars are now.

I own a lot of action figures and I like to display and change up the display every now and then and then photograph some stop motion scenes with my Revoltechs. I like figma too but not as much as revoltech.

I have toddlers, so I don't miss it one bit. In fact, I would go so far as to say I wish my kids were older and didn't play with their toys anymore.

I do miss playing with my toys with my little brother when we were kids. I also miss the cartoons I used to watch, and how I used to feel like everyday was an adventure. Where have the years gone? I feel like my brother and I grew up too fast.

Not really. I only played with toys at a very young age. Video games occupied the majority of my time as a kid.

Why would I miss it? I can buy toys whenever I want to.

I do not miss it anymore, but I've fond memories of playing with my toys. My Transformers are all stored in boxes now, and I practically never get them out... I'm thinking I could donate the ones that are the least damaged to a second-hand toy store someday. I don't think they have a lot of monetary value as collector's items, because most of them have parts missing, but I was never interested in the Transformers' 'collector's value'.

I, too, played out a whole lot of scenarios with those toys (and other toys, like dinosaurs, stuffed animals, cars, etc.)... I think pretty much everyone who had them did. It was kind of an on-going story from the moment I got my first Transformers toys, up to when I was about 14. After I moved to Amsterdam at 16, my interest shifted a little.

I don't miss it because I still play with my toys.

Some kids just never grow up. They just get bigger toys.

I never did put away the things of childhood......I don't believe most guys do either - they might think they have, but look at their paraphernalia, and you'll see the little boy with his toys is alive and well. And women seem every bit as "bad." Bring it on, I say. I hate this idea that we must all act our age and cut ourselves off from our child-selves. We're just taller children, that's all. So give me back my crayons!

Why should you miss playing with toys when you can still play with them into adulthood?
I like going into toy shops and pressing the buttons on the electronic stuff

I miss playing with toys sometimes, esp. when I feel vulnerable. I wish I could go back to playing hours on end with Barbie dolls or Play mobile or what have you.

I still play with toys, but not the same ones as when I was little. Then it was Lincoln logs and Lego, and now it's dirt bikes and Diesel trucks.
