I've already seen this episode before, what they show on channel 4 happens to be a repeat from e4.

I liked series 4 in general but the Freddie storyline being refered to here (I'll be vague to avoid spoilers) almost ruined it for me. Really melodramatic and silly, didn't fit with the mood of the show to me. Would have suited a soap like Eastenders better than a comedy drama like Skins.

That said I love Skins. It's one of my special interests (as you might have guessed from my avatar). It's promoted as a show about hedonism and trendy modern youth but it's actually very sensitive and intelligent drama. I enjoy juxtaposition between serious drama and comedy, realistic characters in fantastic situations; the real and surreal

I like how it deals with issues that effect me like AS and mental health without being preachy or having a "moral". Things like aspergers or anorexia that feature on the show are just one element of a character rather than totally defining them like in worthy "issue" lead shows.

Forestg, you definatley should watch series 1/2, 3 and 4 had their moments but the first generation is so much better. Especially Cassie (the girl in my avatar) who as strange as this might seem coming with a mid-twentysomething guy talking about a seventeen year old girl is my fictional twin.

I personally prefer season 1 and 2, I always find the original casts half of the times more interesting than the replacements and I don't seem to have any idea why?
