I don't know if I'm weird, but most of my obsessions have been related to what is found in video games.
I just find certain characters fascinating, though for me its not ever the main hero, but is usually one of the bad guys he fights.

Duke Nukem 3D- I love Duke Nukem, but it's not Duke himself (I think he's boring,) but I am absolutely enthralled by the PigCops. They are not aliens, nor animals, but mutated police officers. Aliens had mutated them when they invaded, so now they are bad guys. What I find fascinating is that it is a tragedy in their case, because they were made into monsters, but they retain their human intelligence. And in one of the Lunar levels, the aliens had taken several of them to be experimented on, and they actually tried to fight back and escape from the aliens and once they realized that the aliens were going to kill them. What was sad in this part, was that they probably came out from the alien mental influence once they saw that the aliens considered them disposable with the rest of mankind, but by then it was too late.

Jedi Outcast- I don't find Kyle Katarn exciting, but I do love the Reborn. These were kidnapped people, experimented on by the remenent Imperial Empire, and turned to the Dark Side. In the facility where they are created, you can see the cells and the Force-infusing experimental 'sarcophogi' into which they are placed. I often wondered what it would be like to be Force-infused in such a manner, probably it feels like your cells are being torn apart...

Doom- I did sorta like the Space Marine, though I was more interested in the Zombies. I thought these were fascinating with their red eyes, green hair, and pale skin. They seemed to retain some of their personality, though what personality was left was twisted and monsterous. I had a feeling they were still alive (as they made breathing sounds) so were probably just mutants. They also knew to keep their weapons, so it meant that they still had part of a mind. I wonder if they still had normal intelligence, or if was dropped by the deamons for easier control?

As yoiu might have guessed, I like to think a lot about them. I wonder if anyone else does this? These are often the only real part of the game I get interested in, I don't have much interest for the other 'stuff.'

Haha your bit on Pig Cops cracked me up. I get obsessed with weird stuff too, for instance most of my World of Warcraft experience was spent killing low-level enemies, helping low-level players, riding around pointlessly around the shore and staring at water.

Yes,
Albedo from Xenosaga most notably.
Darth Revan from Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.
Lord Vayne Solidor from Final Fantasy XII
Sephiroth (as much of an annoyance as it is that everyone loves him) from Final Fantasy VII
Magneto from any X-Men game (mostly on the Genesis)

Nothing like Albedo though. He is just such a gentle loving guy twisted by his fears and insecurities into one of the most evil characters imaginable and yet he does help the protagonists at some points. You can't help but feel sorry for him.

Admittedly, I get that way with the Brotherhood of Nod from the "Command and Conquer" series. I like the group, not because they are terrorist, but because the tech they use is so much cooler than GDI. Personally, I do wonder what prior event made Kane into a brilliant madman, and I do feel sorry for the people he uses and the outcomes of his plans (which pretty much makes hell on earth). Hell, I'd like to see a prequel solely about the "Rise of Kane," so to speak, and why he became a religious madman.

In Fallout 2 I was obsessed with killing Metzger, that rotten, slaving bashtid!

It took me days to figure out how to do it with getting slaughtered by his men.

lets see, for me it would be the following then

Ramsus and Myang - Xenogears
Kefka - Final Fantasy VI (to top it off probably my fav videogame villain of all time, that and I just love hit MIDI laugh and his theme songs)
Albedo - Xenosaga
LLoyd, Zieg, and Rose - Legend of Dragoon (Zieg and Rose have especially rich backstories)
Sheogorath - Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Sheogorath I think is tied with kefka IMO, I just love everything he says.)

The Lich King. I suffered complete burnout just to see him dead by my hands...

The Darkness in the game The Darkness, well though his is not always an enemy he sure pure evil and I found him rather compelling, especially when he is either pissed at the character or mocking him, also the voice is amazing.

I guess I might also include the Geth from Mass Effect, they just seemed very interesting to me, their designs look cool, and their information intrigued me. I was even hapier to discover that they are not all as bad as first thougt, and I kind of sympathise a lot with them.

I like how Robotnik's badniks are more diverse than your usual enemy.

I always tend to find the villains to be more interesting then the heroes. I often find myself wanting to play as a badguy then a goodguy.

I'm currently obsessed with Excella Gionne from Resident Evil 5. She's an evil CEO who works for the Tricell Corporation as well as being Wesker's personal assistaint, because every powerful male villain eventually ends up with a young scantity-clad bimbo working by his side that he's always more then happy to betray in the end.

Seriously, I do like Excella because I think she looks cool and I like playing as her in The Mercenaries: Reunion, but she's not much of a villain. All she does is tease Chris and Sheva and run away until Wesker gets tired of her and injects her with the Uroboros Virus. She's awesome to play in The Mercenaries: Reunion though. She has some cool attacks like the ability to slap the Majini, performing a butterfly kick, and injecting a Majini with the Uroboros Virus and killing them

Here's some pictures of her, as well as her trailer for The Mercenaries: Reunion.

there are alot of vilians i like
xemnas\kingdom hearts being the most faved one
ansem or xehanort's heartless from the same game
saix marluxia.

i used to like shadow and seph but i gave up on those two somewhat. i only like crisis core seph now.

alot of times i find the villians to have more depth then the hero like xemnas for example if you really know the games well xemnas turns out to be a tormented person who lost his only friends and got corrupted by someone who tried to control him.

he has a very sad story to me.

seph's isn't much happier if you play crisis core and dirge of cerberus you find out more info regarding him. though xemnas has much more depth to him he still is a fairly interesting character.

and i noticed someone else plays legend of dragoon, cool. i like albert from that game cause he makes me laugh but i never got attached to lloyd for long. lloyd to me seems very shallow as far as his past is concerned i can't seem to find much about him.

caim is another that i like from drakengard 2 in 1 he's a hero if you can call him a hero.

and i'm starting to like yaag rosh\final fantasy 13 [can't spell his name] maybe if anything cause he looks like a lighter color xemnas or maybe it's something else. i hated the female villian [can't spell her name either] i only wished i could have killed her. maybe i like yaag because he was never really that bad he was just following orders he could have changed at any moment.

also i'm sorry but i don't know how anyone could like vayne solidor, to me his personality and past a pretty much layed out for you in the game he just wants power and to wage war i can't see any depth to him, i have to ask what is his appeal anyway? sorry if i offended anyone.

wolf from star fox, not really obsessed i just think he is cool though.

Vayne is cool just because of the way he carries himself. The soft tone of his voice and his calmness plus his lust for power.

i will admit that about vayne he is kinda cool the fact that he can stay so calm is worthy of noting. but that one scene where he has gabranth kill that judge in front of everyone bothers me. but i'll give him one thing he is cool i personally gave him an important rule in one of my biggest stories because no one can command an army like him, so in a way i do admire him but at the same time some of his actions bother me.

but he did make a great villian for the story line.
