My daughter's 9th birthday is coming up and i'd like to get her a portable game player. Any recommendations? She's an avid computer game player but has never had a portable.

Yes. i think so. Something like gameboy but i'm guessing that gameboy is out of date now...

DS seems very kid friendly and they're going to have the 3ds now.

Thanks all!

Ended up getting the Nintendo DS for her as they seemed to have the level of games that she likes. She loves it!
