Explain user name and avatar, please

lots of interesting names and avatars on w. p. i am clueless about the derivation of many of them and am interested in how they came about. the fact that i've been dead several times just adds to the cluelessness.

my user name is actually my real name and the name of my companion dog ,a lifeform that means more to me than any entity i've ever known.

Mine is the nickname my mom gave me when I was little, I use to sing that meow meow meow song from
that cat food commercial and some how she came up with frisky girl, I would also get called lil frisky, my
avatar is the same one I use in second life

Mine is a pun on the word willful. The avatar is because I'm a big woman who loves to dance and I identify with the character.

My name is my name and bee combined. Bee because it sounds cute, it's the first letter of my last name, and bees are not only one of the first things that comes to my mind when I think of myself, but it's also on my name thing. My avatar I just saw on Chao Island and thought it was cute so I'm using it here. I'm thinking of changing it though.

I don't have an avatar, but my name started because when I was going to play Conquer Online I was going to be a water taoist (equivulant to healer/mage on wow). I wanted a name that was something to do with water and being vicious. I am using the folklore version of Kelpie, of the ghostly horse who drowns people in rivers and whatnot. Very interesting folklore, give it a read if you like.

Mine is a character from the show Big Bang Theory......I love that show because I can relate to the character and its one of the few shows where i actually understand most of the humour

My username is the title of my favourite Beatles song. The avatar is from the Muppetsshow, I like the Muppetsshow, and its a walrus.

I'm super, male and I'm Ian, and the avatar is a old pic of me from when I was 16 (I looked best then).

My user name is a contraction of my nature (para)doxical combined with the number of letters in my first and last names, and my current avatar is from last Halloween when I went as the Comedian from Watchmen, that's my gf with me in the picture.

My name here is actually very unimaginative - my first name is Lou. The "just" part is a vague comment on all the labels people want to put on me because of my age, nationality, gender, sexuality, socio-economic status, etc. I dispense with all that.
The heart relates to a place in my head that I seem to return to. It's a long field of sharp green grass bordered by deep pine forest, in the middle of which an anatomically correct heart hangs in mid air. I don't know why it's there, but I feel it's an important symbol.

Most of my fondest memories are on winter nights because of events like Christmas Eve or how the Kentucky Horse park sets up all these fancy Christmas lights and you can drive through them and then go the Kentucky Horse museum.

Or one year during one of our yearly ice storms I looked outside and it was a full moon the front yard looked like it was made of crystals, I still use the picture I took that night at my cell phone background.

I used to frequent a forum called AGS (Adventure Game Studio) where, yes, we coded and drew our own computer games. I made one too. But I guess I stopped going because they made things too complicated for me, and I sucked at the competitions. Plus I was afraid of winning and tehrefore having to host the next one.

Anyway my name there was Silvertrumpet because when I was in high school the trumpet that was assigned to me was silver. I was really attatched to it lol. I named it Stanley. *ahem* After high school I couldn't take Stanley with me, so the 'Silver' in my name didn't make sense. But I didn't want to be "Trumpet" cause that's lame. But I love the colour silver so I... made up my creative spelling. Unfortunately I have seen a place or two where someone has already taken my name. In those cases I am Sylvrwind, after my GuildWars character. Wooh overshare.

My current avatar is a screengrab from a series of videos about Japanese(?) people learning english through exercise. Sometimes I jump into threads and post excerpts when things you guys say trigger the video to play in my head. My first avatar was from last christmas me and a sister took a marker to the bowl of nuts. Walnuts -> Lolnuts / Almonds -> Lolmonds / Filberts -> Roflberts

I'm a misfit Kinks Fan. It's better, this way. My typical peers are a waste of my time.

BTDT is an acronym for Been There Done That. I've discovered that I've done just about all the Aspie type things at one time or another. My wife, who figured out I'm an Aspie, says I display distinctive behaviors every day.
