Me

-Any job is a good job

FALSE. People treat you better the better your job

-Looks dont matter

ROFL. this is a good one a really good one.

When I was like 110 pounds people would bully the s**t outta me. Now I am 180 pounds at a low bodyfat.........im happy as heck

So, you see. The superficial and the personality characteristics of a person DO matter

My favorite:

"You can be anything you want to be!" :D

"Okay, I want to play in a rock band. I don't care if it's in dingy smokey bars for the next thirty years. That's what I want to do."

"Oh. Except that. You don't really want that."

canned asparagus.

Just kidding.

I got the "you can be anything" line too. Guess what? It isn't true.

Um " Just be yourself" I always am but it hasn't helped.

"Someday you will find the right person" Not so far and I'm no spring chicken.

All the usual crap parents give their children I guess.

My mom tried to feed me potted meat and miracle whip. It was so gross. She would put it in a sandwich and I would throw it in the garbage under the kitchen sink when she went in the living room. She would come back and asked if I ate it and I would say yes and run away.

If you come in early and work hard at your job your boss will have more respect for you.

If you ignore them they will leave you alone.

There is someone for everybody out there, you just have to look.

They said to me "You can be anything you want to be"... "you just have to work hard and put effort on it". Soooo untrue!

My mother did tell me when I was 6 and just got caught playing "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" with the little boy across the street...

"Jesus did not make your little body to play with"

How 'bout "Anyone can grow up to be president in the United States". I mean, is it possible? Really, trully possible????? What if we all wanted to grow up to be president, every single one of us? They would have to limit the term to maybe an hour or two to accommodate all our wishes and even then some of us wouldn't be allowed the opportunity. Simply not enough hours in a lifetime for every single one of us to grow up and be president, is there?
I know. Maybe we can have more than one president at a time?

My parents never told me 'I could be anything".

They told me to play the cards i've been dealt with the best I can.

I have a lot of respect for my parents.

My parents were pretty practical. My mom and stepdad were and still are very encouraging.

My father and stepmother were quite the opposite. In high school I had a 103 average in drafting and a 98 in Algebra and I told my dad I wanted to be an aeronautical engineer and my dad smirked and told me to "get real". Oddly enough, I actually could have done that had I decided to. My dad never, ever told me I could be anything I wanted to be. I wish he had.

Having your hope killed is worse than giving false hope imo. False hope often encourages positive movements in people lives.

Thats a general stereotype that is specific to the bullies in question, and the person in question.
Its often true and often not.
