I'm someone who often either can't get to sleep at night or when I do I tend to sleep for an excessive amount of time. I read it was somewhat symptomatic for people with AS to have a racing mind when trying to wind down to sleep, which is the case with me.

So what I was wondering is anyone else have any experience in setting up a normal sleep schedule to correspond with classes, work and what not?

I have two alarms (a normal one and my laptop that blasts music) but even then sometimes I just sleep through it or worse actual turn the off and go right back to sleep. I know exercise helps me, but sometimes I get too busy to do much or don't want to over train by working out at odd hours.

Any suggestions to get up and stay up?

I've found an herbal tea that helps me sleep.

Wife and #1 son finf melatonin can work. Me I don't need it. And for me alarm clocks either fail to wake me or they give me 2/3 of a heart attack.
