Hi people, I've just joined the community so here's my introduction thread!

I'm 21, live in the Australian state of Tasmania, and am now studying psychology and graphic design at uni with a view to becoming a teacher later down the track. I was diagnosed with Aspergers at the age of eight (a turbulent time to say the least), but since then I've done a great deal of personal development and gained a lot of new knowledge and experiences. So much so, that I doubt very much that I would meet the diagnostic criteria anymore. I've also never met anyone in a similar kind of situation, despite having met many others on the spectrum. So in short, it's something I have mixed feelings toward.

But that's not the main reason I'm here. At the moment, I'm actually putting together a social campaign aimed at adolescents with Aspergers for a graphic design project. I'll post more about it somewhere else since it really doesn't belong in an introductory thread, but I hope you community members may be able to offer some insightful input for it.
